The NHR 9210 Single Channel Test System from NH Research is a flexible and effective tool for testing energy storage in manufacturing and engineering settings. The NHR 9210's small size allows it to be readily moved around a lab, which is useful when putting the test system right up to the unit under test (UUT) or into an engineer's workplace. This test system is a member of the 9210 Series, a single-channel version of the popular 9200 family that provides comparable features along with the extra mobility of being more portable.
Because of its bi-directional channel, which can be set up for 40V, 120V, or 600V applications, the NHR 9210 is appropriate for a variety of energy storage technologies, such as lead-acid, NiMH, and Li-ion batteries. It may function in multiple states, including battery, standby, discharge (load), and charge (source). It can also function in multiple modes, such as constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP), and resistance (CR). Because of its versatility, the NHR 9210 can be applied to a wide range of tasks, such as motor cycle simulations, burn-in tests, and battery emulation.
The NHR 9210 test system has sub-millisecond transition speeds for voltage, current, and mode changes in addition to the ability to create bespoke waveforms and profiles. The system streamlines test setup and execution using a built-in controller that comes pre-installed with graphing and control software. Furthermore, the test system easily interfaces with Enerchron® Test Management Software from NH Research, which makes it easier to create, run, and analyze intricate test sequences, such as drive cycles. With an internal controller that comes pre-configured with PowerPanel software and an additional PC-based version for increased capability, the NHR 9210 also provides a range of control options.
